Path Two

You have a university degree, and you are a current member of:

  • the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)
  • the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP)
  • the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA)

Step 5: Application for Accreditation as a CMA

Once you have completed the Strategic Leadership Program and the 24-month practical work experience requirement, you may apply to be accredited as a Certified Management Accountant. You must be sponsored by a CMA who is in good standing, and you must be employed in a qualifying position in Canada when you submit your application. CMA Ontario will send an application form to you when you have completed the Strategic Leadership Program.
