University or College Degree Recognized by CMA Ontario

To be accredited as a Certified Management Accountant in Ontario, you must have a university or college degree from a recognized university or college. A recognized university or college is an educational institution whose degree programs are considered by CMA Ontario to be equivalent to the degree programs of Canadian universities

You can contact the CMA Ontario Accreditation Department to find out if your university is recognized.

If CMA Ontario is unfamiliar with the university that granted you a degree or with your degree, CMA Ontario will provide you with information about how you can have your degree assessed by a recognized international academic credential evaluation service.

CMA Ontario will evaluate your university transcripts. If you were asked to provide an evaluation report from an international academic credential evaluation service, CMA Ontario will also evaluate the report. CMA Ontario will then decide if your university degree satisfies the CMA degree requirement.

CMA Ontario’s transcript evaluation service is free. Review information on how to submit your transcripts.
