CMA Ontario offers English language skills assessment and classes. If you are pursuing a CMA designation, you can get an online assessment of your English language skills.

If you are a registered CMA candidate, you can also use an online self-evaluation program to assess your English skills. After the evaluation, if you need or want to improve your English skills, CMA Ontario will help refer you to appropriate programs.

CMA Ontario also has an Accelerated Program primer. The primer has definitions of words used in each session and a summary of the content of the session. The online Accelerated Program sessions also have captions, similar to sub-titles, to help candidates understand the sessions.

You can also participate in a series of courses from Language Education for Accounting Professionals (LEAP). These courses focus on English language skills to help you succeed in your program and pass the CMA Entrance Exam. The programs run for eight weeks and require three hours of study each week.
